Tempeh Bacon Avocado and Cheese Toast

Who doesn’t like bacon and avocado? I mean put either of those things on just about anything and it will taste great.

So happy to have found a bacon alternative that I actually like. Especially when it’s covered in avocado and spicy tomato cayenne Chao cheese.

This is a take on an ideal adult grilled cheese. It’s so simple and packs such a punch of flavor!

Ingredients:

  • 2 slices of your favorite bread (I use “Dave’s Killer Bread”)
  • 2 slices of Light Life Tempeh Bacon
  • 1/2 of a ripe avocado
  • 3-4 cherry tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 slice of tomato cayenne Chao cheese

In a small skillet on medium high heat, cook your tempeh bacon as directed in package or until browned to your liking.

Then, place your slice of Chao cheese on one of your slices of bread. Then put both slices of bread into the toaster oven for 3-5 minutes depending on your toaster. When cheese has melted and bread has become nice and toasty, remove from the oven. Then spread your 1/2 of an avocado onto the toast and top with your tomato and cooked tempeh bacon.

Then serve and enjoy and try not to down this in 30 seconds like I did.
