Roasted Brussels Sprouts are the best snack! They are super easy to make and are a perfect healthy alternative for those out their with a salt tooth like me!
So glad that Brussels sprouts are no longer being boiled and ruined. Instead they are getting their time in the sun (or oven). You can roast them up and change the flavor profile each time you make it. However this is my go to recipe and it is as simple as it is delicious!
Oh and am I the only one who had no idea that there was an “S” at the end of the word Brussel?! I guess you really do learn something new everyday!
- 1 cup of fresh Brussels sprouts, cut into quarters
- Olive oil
- Sea salt
Preheat the oven to 350F. Then place your quartered Brussels sprouts on to a foil lined baking sheet. Drizzle olive oil onto the sprouts and mix them around. Then place the sheet into the oven for 20-25 minutes. About halfway through shake your tray around so that the Brussels sprouts can crispy on all sides. Then after about 25 minutes, you can remove the tray and sprinkle coarse sea salt over the roasted sprouts. Then place them into a bowl and serve!!
