Immunity Booster

Everyone’s getting the flu, but you don’t have to! Let’s start boosting up those immunities, with this punch packing tea.

Ingredients:
– 1 whole lemon
– 3 cloves of garlic
– 1/2 of a large piece of ginger, roughly chopped
– 1 heaping tsp of turmeric
– 1/2 heaping tsp of cayenne (you can add more if you want an extra punch)
– 1/2 tsp of coarse black pepper

Pour about 4 cups of water into a pot on medium/high heat. Pour in the juice of 1 large lemon, dropping the lemon rinds in as well. Then add garlic, ginger, turmeric, cayenne, and pepper. Let boil for 15-20 minutes and turn off heat. Using a strainer, separate the liquid out of the mixture, place into a container with a lid, and put in the fridge. You can keep the mixture refrigerated for 7-10 days. Each morning when you wake up pour about 1.5 oz, or a shot glass worth into a microwaveable cup and heat! The heat first thing in the morning will ignite your bodies metabolism and digestive tract.

****This may be a bit of a strong taste for first timers. So feel free to dilute with water or mix in raw natural honey. I also challenge you to warm.
